My unique approach
For many years, my focus was primarily weddings, documenting each day with care and emotion. Over time, my work shifted. As my own life deepened through motherhood and creative community, I found myself drawn more intentionally to everyday life. The quiet magic that often slips by unnoticed, the connection woven into family rhythms, and the purpose behind a growing business.
Today, I focus on story-driven family sessions, thoughtful brand imagery, and heartfelt celebrations. I’m inspired by work that feels layered and genuine, where photographs hold both beauty and depth.
To me, photography isn't simply about how something looked. It’s about honoring what it meant and how it felt in the moment.

Life Behind the Lens
From Classroom to Camera
I began my career as an elementary school teacher, and my love for working with children has shaped the way I photograph families. My sessions are rooted in play, patience, and connection meeting little ones where they are and creating space for genuine joy to unfold.
Motherhood, My Greatest Inspiration
I’m a mother of four, three girls and a boy, and they are the heart behind my work. Watching them grow has deepened my understanding of how quickly seasons change and what a gift it is to preserve through photography the everyday magic that often slips by unnoticed.
Inspired by Travel
Travel is one of our family’s greatest joys. Some of our most treasured memories were made exploring places like France, England, Ireland, Puerto Rico, and El Salvador together. Seeing the world alongside my children has shaped the way I see light, color, culture, and connection.
Meet our Cavapoo, Desi
After years of asking, our family finally welcomed our first dog, Desmond “Desi” our sweet rescue cavapoo and he has quickly become the most adored member of the household.
Creating Community
In 2023, my best friend and I co-founded The Coterie Commons - a photography studio and community space designed for workshops, creative gatherings, and meaningful connection. We recently expanded with the launch of Tapestry Market, a collective boutique celebrating local women makers and artists.
A Story Across States
Since starting my business in 2010, I’ve lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, and now Pennsylvania. I’m grateful to continue serving clients in each of those beautiful places and happily travel to document their stories.
